Cot W

The distinctive character of the Cot W comes from the design of its generous plywood seat with enlarged radii, which can be upholstered, and its round wooden legs, which taper where they join the seat to maximize the contact surface between the legs and the seat. The legs taper conically toward the floor, making the stool appear more stable while emphasizing the seat's generous radii. The stool's playful character is achieved by making the rear legs slimmer than the front ones. A trapezoidal, powder-coated steel footrest wraps around the legs in the central area, serving both as a structural element and as a comfortable foot support. In side view, the footrest is tilted forward at the same angle as that of the original Cot with metal legs, with which it shares both the shape and the material of the seat.
